My friends and I are among Duke University Basketball fans called "The Cameron Crazies" and we used this tent for our basketball season. Basically we live in a tent for the months leading up to the big UNC-Duke game to get tickets- and this tent lasted us about two weeks. Granted in that time we had two hard rain storms, but the poles snapped within the first week and then we had to get a new tent. It's great for sunny weather, but it cannot withstand 10mph winds with rain. Or snow. Snow was game over. I would not buy this tent again.
